What have you learned about 3D modeling?

I have learned that by just using simple shapes its easy to make something very intricate just by copying the original shapes you made. I also learned that copying many objects at once is very helpful when you are making a copy of a building.

What has been your biggest chalenge in 3D modeling?

My biggest challenge so far has been lining things up perfectly. I have had a hard time with copying objects and keeping them in line with the rest of the things i have already built.

What would you do differently if you were to do your castle model over again?

I would use more of a mixture of shapes. My castle that I made is very "boxy". I think it would look more realistic if there was a variety of shapes.

Was your research sketch helpful?

My sketch was helpful. Since I already had an outline it made it easier to know what to start off building. Next time though, my sketch is going to be more detailed. It would be a lot more helpful because I would know exactly what I would be making.
